I have a NOS single barrel carb.It is a CARTER W-1.There are other numbers on it,0-365 X and a brass tag 420S.Does anybody know what it fits?It is new not rebuilt.

A carter carbureter sevice manual that i have says a 420s fits a 39/40 Chevrolet ,all models except Fleet,Cab over engine and Nat/l defence .

On looking further through the manual i see it was also used on 39/40 pontiacs 2200&2200s series
