Okay, the price is a bit heavy for a relatively small paper back book. With that said, as an author I can only imagine how much effort and time went in to the research and search for photos behind this book.
This is a truly fascinating pictorial essay of the dominance of the American automobile industry in England before World War II. Enhancing each photo is rich background detail and concise but informative captions.
In addition to the photographs there are a wide array of advertisements reprinted on these pages as well. These provide an interesting look at how American automobiles were marketed to a British Market.
The price is the only reservation I have in recommending this book. On the other hand can you put a price on such a delightful time capsule from an oft overlooked chapter in American automotive history?
