I'm gonna watch this should be interesting. I wonder what the reserve is, I get the feeling it's *possible* she doesn't know what she's sitting on. Thinks it's a '37! \:D And an "Automatic with a clutch" haha I mean that's about right but it still sounds kinda funny just reading it.

2-door sedan too, DaveCorbin your's is that, correct? Those are a lot more rare aren't they? So this one's at the top of the list like yours. Nuts.

Dear Paul:
You are correct that my self-shifter is a 2 door, but in examining the posted pictures, I note that this car is a slantback Model 47 and mine is a humpback Model 48. Production was 11,265 for model 47 and 14,153 on model 48.
Total producton on self-shifters was 3,880,and, as far as I can figure out, those transmissions went into all Specials at about the same rate, which was about 2.8% of all Specials.
This car is new to me and I don't have anything in my files on it. My file did include 9 cars, now 10. My car is the only model 48.
Regards, Dave Corbin

Dear Paul:
The above was posted at around 3AM, so I'm in a bit of a fog. The car is actually a Model 44 and production was 5943. A model 47 is a 4-door and the prouction number above of 11,265 is correct. They're all very rare today.
Regards, Dave Corbin

I was bidding on, and was the runner up on this car. As you know, I only like to odd stuff. The power went out earlier in the day, and my computer would not come back on, soooooo, I missed out. Don't know how much I would have bid, and, maybe the successful bidder didn't have that answer either. I guess I wasn't supposed to own that one, Paul
