Some wonderful Buicks here, including some I've not seen before at this event.
Cliff Adams' 1961 LeSabre convertible
and Jerry Courson's unrestored 1949 Super, low mileage, recent "barn find", 3-speed with original paint (drool, drool...!)

Is it me, or does the 'barn find' have a hood scoop and say something other than Buick Super??

Must be the wrong photo because that doesn't look anything like Jerry's car. Wrong color to begin with...

Jerry went to a lot of trouble to win the "Most Drips" award at the banquet. He fixed his oil filter so it left a trail of oil around the parking lot leading to the rather large puddle (or 2) under the car. Luckily a second gasket and a big wrench too car of that issue.

Love the '61 models , they are my favourite of the 1960s.
There's something about those rear tail lights.

What's all that green stuff in the picture? Most of the snow here is gone right now, but the lawn is definitely brown...things will start greening up in a week or two if the weather holds.

Bill has been prodding me to get down there one of these years...I think it will happen in time - the timing just needs to work out...it would definitely be a nice way to get rid of some of the winter blahs.

The place we hold the spring meet is an old stagecoach stop in the town of Salado TX. During the month of April, there is a car show there every weekend. The Lincolns were there at the same time as the Buicks.

Plan ahead to October, there will be a Regional meet in Fredericksburg, TX hosted by the Alamo chapter. When things are getting cold up north, October in Texas is darn nice.
