Another question on 53 Skylark detailing. My Skylark project has cone shaped rubber bumpers in the 2 front guards. The Skylark pictures of restored cars I see online show stainless steel or chrome inserts in the guards with NO rubber.
Which is correct for the 53 models?
Thanks.

Marty:

I'll venture a guess. I think you could get accessory lights inside the front guards but not "dagmars." Also please take a look at your "my stuff" for an answer to an earlier inquiry. Jim Farrell

Jim-thanks for your reply. Would the rubber Dagmars have been standard on a Roadmaster or Super? They sure would be nice to have if you stop a little bit long on a hard surface.
