I am repacing the top on a 48 Continental. I would like to know the original color options for the top. The Car is Black with Red Leather upholstery.

The present top color is a Light Tan and over 20 years old.

Thanks a lot.

Tan or Black, unless custom ordered. I believe there are records available that can tell you exactly what your car was delivered with. Contact the Benson Ford Archives at the Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village. With your car's serial number, they should be able to help you.
