Hi, anyone have an idea about either of these two problems:

I was driving the other day and suddenly the steering wheel was near impossible to turn and the brakes were hard to press. Oil, engine coolant, transmission, and brake fluids are all okay. Power steering was a little low but that wouldn't affect the brakes would it?

Also. If the radio antennae doesn't go down all the way in the trunk when the radio is turned off, does that drain battery power slowly. Thanks.

What year car and what engine?

If it's a HydroBoost car, low power steering fluid can definitely affect steering and brakes. The PS belt hasn't broken or come off?

"That's a strange concept, Son" said my father as he sampled the day's run of silvery-clear moonshine for taste and quality. "Good 'shine, that. Your grandpap would be proud that the gift has passed on to another generation. But yes, it's real strange that some folks feel like a varmint has more right to illegally inhabit and destroy your property than you have to prevent it from doing it."

"Come to think of it, that's why your Uncle Reade sold off all them rental houses he had. It was costing him more to fix what the varmints tore up than he was making off 'em. And the govamint wouldn't let him evict them."

It's a 1994 98 Oldsmobile with a 3.6L V6 engine. I should've also mentioned that all the lights on the dash lit up when this happened.

thanks for the help.
