I'm sure you guys remember me with my computer ills just before Philly. Well, I finally got in the mood (I resemble my wife more each day! ) to start my "February" NNR newsletter this week. I've been noticing the black printing has some lines running through the page every so often. After going through the normal "clean printer" process with bad results, I broke down and ordered new print heads, all of them. I ordered extra ink cartridges too.

I received them the next day, really, from Lancaster, Pa, about 250 miles from Warsaw, Va. As I went through to order to get the print heads out, installing as I went, I immediately noticed that the black print head would not install. That's when I noticed that the "dummy" in Warsaw ordered a #10 print head, instead of a #11.
Whoops!!! I called Quill, and got a representative faster than Gloria can get me a beer!
I explained the situation to her. She said, no problem and that I could return it. I explained that it had already been opened. She said, no problem, let me get a return number for you! She came back and said I'd have the correct cartridge tomorrow(today) and that also the "little brown truck" would stop by with an address label to put on the return printer box.......
NO CHARGE!!!!!

All right, a company you can depend on. I complimented her service and told her that if Dell Computers had employees and work ethics like Quill everyone would be happier. By the way, this girl spoke "English", A language this "red neck" Virginian can speak...somewhat.

There you go, the Happy Message for the day from Virginia.

Wayne, can we clone this lady? I am trying to get an airline reservation and what a mess to push #1 or #2 or whatever and then I had a question-- well, forget that! I had tried doing this on the computer but with a question; there was no answer anywhere for that. I finally called on the phone again and just canceled. Will start over another day and hope it goes smoother.

Fran, My wife and I have been using a local travel agent for some time now with reservations. Another one of those, "I know where to go, if I have a problem!" The company is pretty reasonable too. I've about had it with computer ordering systems.
