Bry, How many years have you been an editor? I have almost 9 years combined on 2 award winning newsletters. SalG

I'm an editor by profession. I don't do anything with the AACA, at the moment. That's why I offered to write stuff for you guys.

Cheers,
Bry

Bry, What sort of a publication do you write for? I would be good to get a pros point of view. SalG

The only regular writing I do is for my own website; it's got 161 pages and growing. I do occasional freelance work which is basically what I'm offering you guys although I don't think I'd charge a region newsletter for it. I could use a little more exposure and (from what I've read in several places) the local newsletters occasionally need a little something extra. So that could benefit the both of us.

By day I'm a managing editor supervising a CD-ROM periodical covering state tax law. I've also managed trade magazines and written or edited for several journals and newspapers.

The newsletters I've seen thus far are pretty good, especially considering how few newsletter editors have been to journalism school. I commend you all. It can seem like a thankless job at times but you produce anyway -- the true spirit of the press. Rare enough in the mass media these days.

Cheers,
Bry
