I suspect the pivots on the rear link are rusted and want to hold the rear up because they are not pivoting.
Try lubricating them liberaly and work the hood up and down.

I second the Denso brand. Never had any problems using them in my Reatta, Fiero's or my Toyota 22R truck.
I got mine at Rockauto (for my 90 Reatta) for only $14.14

That is definitely for a 30. It looks just like the one on my 30. The cap for the 34 is much larger and the plug wires come out both sides (if I remember correctly).
It looks like the same distributor was used on the 10th series cars as

Shame, but out here in nowhere Montana, complete cars don't sell too well, since no one wants to drive this far to pick one up, so I'm selling the parts. Let me know if you have any needs, and I'll work on them.

Add on heaters apparently date to the mid 20s. The first car with a built in heating and ventilating system was the 1939 or 40 Nash Weather Eye.
Heaters remained optional on most cars until the 60s I think.

I would do the exact same. I can get good American 12-v batteries cheaply at Wal-Mart.
I never understood why 6-v batt's are so expensive. They deliver MUCH less power, and cost more money.

The maroon and cream were factory colors, but these are not the original colors on this car. And, the fenders were not typically painted the color that was on the roof of two-toned cars. I think this paint pattern looks better than the original.
