There are no 2 books to have. Pretty much they all have errors so relying on so few will cause you grief in the end.
To restore your car you must understand the how and why of the car so you can make the best informed decisions.

I doubt a line ruptured up there. Even if it did it is not a big deal. They are very prone to problems in the back near the proportioning valve. Any marginally skilled mechanic with a ISO flaring tool can get you back on the road in less than a day.

Have a 29' Packard radiator for sale. Has dual returns on botom so guess it's for dual water pump set up. Have taken to radiator shop & pressure tested. Has 3 or 4 small leaks but guy said it's restorable if repair is done w/ low heat.Email tntn

The gas tank sending unit is accessable through a removeable panel on the trunk floor. It has a tab that sticks into the floor and is held in place by a single screw.

FWIW, I may have a part of an earlier Warner Instrument. Top of case reads patented feb 17, 1901, dec 1, 1908, with additional patents in France, Gemany and Canada.
