Some pumps are more prone to failure than others. GM Truck and SUV fuel filters are notorious for failing.

I still have not found the number, do you have one of these cars? The exhaust system was even salvagable on the one I had.

A 390 will bolt in using the Y block mounts,I think they need to be reversed or swapped sides. If you use a 390 you could use your original trans if you use a 58 to 64 bellhousing but you might have to use the starter and flywheel for those years of

That big dually may have had negative tongue weight or been close to a balanced trailer. Either one can cause the trailer to first push the rear wheels of the tow vehicle down, which in turn lifts the traction to the two front wheels t
