With scrap steel at over $10.00 per 100 weight, I bet I know where they were headed.
You know that old load you saved to restore someday? Now
may be the time to cash in. I know a guy that just got $310 for 1955 Oldsmobile 4 door. That's

Is the roof stamping of the 1963 Belair 4-door sedan
the same as the stamping for the 2-door sedan? If not,
how are they different? Are the trunk lids the same?
Thanks for your help.

for my 41, I got single side foil insulation from leBaron Bonney and used the adhesive 3M recommended, applied as recommended. I do not advise double-sided foiled - it's much harder to get a good bond.

That number must have been superceded at the year change in 1960. That's why it wasn't in my book.

I'm on the lookout for a high speed (3.55:1) center section for my 38 coupe. I do believe that a 52 and earlier will fit.

There's a guy in my neck of the woods who uses his Model 'T' as a daily driver all summer long. The top speed on the 'T' isn't that high and it takes him longer to get to work, but he gets better gas mileage with his 'T' than he does with his pickup

I seem to recall the question had come up on the Forum at one time whether Buick issued a factory kit to convert a Flight Pitch or Triple Turbine equipped car to a Twin Turbine transmission. This should answer the question.

There are no 2 books to have. Pretty much they all have errors so relying on so few will cause you grief in the end.

To restore your car you must understand the how and why of the car so you can make the best informed decisions.

I doubt a line ruptured up there. Even if it did it is not a big deal. They are very prone to problems in the back near the proportioning valve. Any marginally skilled mechanic with a ISO flaring tool can get you back on the road in less than a day.

Thanks for the advice, I'm pretty sure it has never been painted. I can not know for sure, but my father in law took a lot of pride in keeping it completely original. I do see that the front fenders look like they have a different reflection and tint
