Lamar,

Can't you get a permit to operate a museum? Seems like one to most of us, but we don't vote in your town.

I would check the choke heater tube. What may be happening is the tube may have rotted out ( especially in the back where it goes into the exhaust manifold) and the heat is not sufficient to cause the choke to fully open. While driving the choke ma

Thanks very much for thinking of me - it is appreciated. What I really need are a few more gray cells and the ability to use them.

The plastic is original. You should be able to see the "DPCD" emblem and the part number along the border at the back of the lens. Glass lenses are aftermarket replacements.

Welcome, Blue. I'm hearing that all connections should be cleaned of corrosion and tightened. This is true for ALL connections, even inside plugs. Take them apart and inspect the pins for green or char. Sometimes re-seating connections will remed

I stand corrected, Mike. The bearings are part of the hub and are not sold separately. Only the seal is [$3-5 per side]. rockauto.com seems to have a good price for Timken at $61. The rears are much more at $105. They can be had on ebay for as lit

Welcome. One of the great things about the Reatta is its interior size. Most people who get in my car for the first time comment on how big the interior is. The trunk is no mini either, considering the overall size of the car.

It's been swapped out for something, and not a '63. If it were a '63 120 mph speedo, it would have the same face as the gauge set on the right of the speedo.

It has been 40 + years from my days in PA (Reading) Dutch country, but I recall that Stoltsfus was about one of the more common PA Germany (Dutch) names with many of them being Amish. I think the origin of the family was actually Swiss.
