I have a 1939 Plymouth Business coupe. I have 2 hoods which don't fit they are only 34 1/2 inches long at the hinge. Did I weld something incorrectly on the 1968 Chevy Nova frame? or are there diffrent size hoods. Thanks

LT-1 is still spelled 'chevy.' I think that you could put in a mildly modified 200r4 (dual pattern bell housing will bolt up to your 430.) You'd need to modify the carb linkage to work the throttle valve on the 200r4 (no modulator like the turbo 40
