Yea, well I was going to give up 350.00 for the mats because they were vintageand unique, but since he already has someone looking, I just went on line and bought some new ones :).

I have my freshened up 401 ready to drop into my Black 63 Riviera. (want to get some miles on it BEFORE Galena!) I was wondering if the front power steering bracket is silver or semi gloss black?

With the key held in the crank position, try moving the transmission selector through the full range from Park to Low, slowly, and back. Do it several times. See if it cranks in any of those places. The neutral safety switch may have bad connection

Identifying your car's original color and getting paint mixed is a cinch. Doesn't cost anything either.

The body tag is on the driver's side of the firewall. It was printed or silk screened then the numbers stamped in.

Subframe mounting ( the 4 arms sticking out from the case) rule out anything to do with T Fords. Looks a lot like a transmission I had for a 4 cylinder REO car/truck. The ujoint hanging on there does look T but then T parts show up mixed with lots o

The bolt pattern is 3 5/8" or 3 11/16" near as I can tell. Here is a shot of the other end.
