Nic: you should be good with the Air Hog, because I THINK it does not use oil, so there's no risk of getting some on your mass airflow sensor.

Some pumps are more prone to failure than others. GM Truck and SUV fuel filters are notorious for failing.

I still have not found the number, do you have one of these cars? The exhaust system was even salvagable on the one I had.

A 390 will bolt in using the Y block mounts,I think they need to be reversed or swapped sides. If you use a 390 you could use your original trans if you use a 58 to 64 bellhousing but you might have to use the starter and flywheel for those years of
