Yes. You should be able to run a wire from your plug that will keep it charged. I'm going to hook mine up that way this weekend. A friend of mine hooked up his trailer battery this way and the charging system from the tow vehicle kept kept the batt

I already have a dedicated battery to run only my winch. I just want to know if there is a way to keep it charged from my tow vehicle's alternator.

Willy, Do your rims have tires mounted on them? If so, use the following example:
For 34 X 4 tires...double the second number and subtract the total from the first number... you get 26" rims.

Michael - the carbs with the bronze bowls have a flat aluminum cap. They don't really complete seal. The better kits come with a new cap. Kits are less expensive than carburetors.
