I put mine on a switch it was so annoying, most of the time the tunes come from CD or Ipod so I keep that whistle maker retracted...

If you feel like typing, recap the symptoms before it happened and EVERYTHING you have tried/inspected. I'll give it another read and a better than averidge guess... DO you have another SMEC module yo can try? I may have a spare or three, whatcha go

I would check the choke heater tube. What may be happening is the tube may have rotted out ( especially in the back where it goes into the exhaust manifold) and the heat is not sufficient to cause the choke to fully open. While driving the choke ma
