I had a friend of mine from Winteripeg help me install the struts and frame insulators today. He is GOOD! He got the bolt I cut off (and left only a quarter inch sticking down) out with a little heat from a welding torch right next to the fuel lines.

Madien voyage completed since being stored since 1977. I was worried @ the tranny but it pulled. Just drove it to the gas station as customers walked around it asking,"What is it" Didn't want to push my luck yet. I have a lot of fine tuning

There were some problems with the fuel calculations in the computer. See previous posts. If you are going by your computer's estimates they can be way off. My 88 says I am averaging 18 mpg, but I have never had less than 25 mpg when I do the math mys

I would have a '55 trans as a parts donor if that is a help. The connection to the prop shaft seems like it would by just a U joint change and perhaps I could use the bell housing from my '55. The ring gear seems like it might be a killer though yo

Was a beautiful day to do some color spraying. For a newbie I think they turned out pretty good. I found the parts that hang tend to get more orange peal then the pieces that lay flat. Will have to do some color sanding and buffing. Had a little mis
