One of the first posts I ever made on the forum was trying to figure out these breathers. I got 2 of them in a box that was otherwise all NOS 1958 Buick parts. They are NOS breathers with attached 26" long dipsticks.

Both have handwritten tags with "BUICK" and "1.022 3165841" on them. (It could also be "3185891".) My 1940-1964 parts book does not have that group number in it, and the part number does not appear in the group number for either dipsticks or breathers.

When I first asked about these 8 years ago I didn't have a digital camera. Here are 2 photos. Does anybody know what year/engine these fit? Thanks!

I should add that both tags have handwritten price stickers ($7.50) with the number AIS 991. Also after carefully examining the handwriting on the tags I think it's more likely that the second number I listed (3185891) is what was written. The tags themselves appear to be 40+ years old.
