I'm doing some general work on my engine. I have the manuals. I am concerned about how much to tighten bolts on the intake manifold (for example). Someone mentioned that I should get Buick service bulletins to go with the manuals that I have. Anyone know?

Thanks,

there is also a book available called "riviera refernce book" which re-prints every (?) dealer bulletin. you can order this at www.oldbuickparts.com in the riviera section. go to group #16 and on page 2 you will find the b&w book for $22. order number is RRB 1-4.

The chassis manual has torque specs--you shouldn't need the service bulletins for general engine repair.
