Hey Zephyr guys-- Anyone have sucess in painting the
'38 license lite lens cover? I'ave done it 5 times
and can't get it right. I'am using "one shot " pin
stripe paint. Did Lincoln motor co use a stensil?

Soak a rag in lacquer thinner and wipe the excess paint off. The paint in the grooves will stay there if the rag is held tight on a block of wood or rubber.
