Trying to find out what the paint color of the engine should be for a 1930 DD sedan.

Thanks

I have some original pictures of the definate color of the 29/30 DA engine block if you would like them, I researched this quite a bit myself and compared different motors in all the hard to get to untouched areas, as you may already realize if it is the same as DA than it is a dark green ( in my opinion ) British green seems very close but as mentioned I can send the pictures to you and it will be clear to you. Let me know

As far as the original color for the 1929, 1930 and 1931 Dodge cars, I have seen a lot of restored examples and they were mostly a green/gray color....a little more gray than green.

Yes that sounds about right, looks like a military color

Steveie G., my DA engine is grey. Not much left but it looks like machinery or battle ship grey. I'm told they were both colors.
