Hey Zephyr guys-- Anyone have sucess in painting the '38 license lite lens cover? I'ave done it 5 times and can't get it right. I'am using "one shot " pin stripe paint. Did Lincoln motor co use a stensil? The squeege did not work Larry Butcher
Soak a rag in lacquer thinner and wipe the excess paint off. The paint in the grooves will stay there if the rag is held tight on a block of wood or rubber.
The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
