Hi Peter,

I have been having a bit of trouble logging in, getting my icons, and photos! Perhaps you can help. I have followed the directions but maybe I am doing something wrong.

Please help!

There has got to be a better way ! I am sure we would see many more photos if it was not so complicated ! Isnt there a program whereby we just post our pic. , any size , and the software will resize to fit ?

May I add a suggestion, hope so cause I’m going to anyway. Have any of you thought about using photo-bucket? It seems to have everything you need. A place to store your photos, edit them. Just don’t change the name the site gives you. It also gives you the click option to where you just click the paste the information on the forums.

http://photobucket.com it is free.

As for right clicking on the photo with the red x means the server doesn’t support what is called hot linking. That is the term used in web design. It has to do with the bandwidth that is used to link to the pictures.
I my self just learned this as I decided to use the web space that my ip provider uses for another forum and had the same problems.

I'm with you Norb. What happened to our capability of adding a photo directly from our computer,(up to 5)?? That's how I got all my photos into my page (1953 Buick Super 8 Convertible) on the Me and my Buick forum. If I have to go through the gyrations described at the beginning of this thread FORGET IT!!

Well what do you know. It worked here. What's the deal??
