these badges were given or bought by all HCC members & many were put on the radiators of members cars.yours is the first design that was used for many years before the club took off "founded in Los Angeles." they didnt want prespective members to think it was a LA club any longer & the club rose to over 5000 members world wide.the horseless carriage club of america is a brass car club for pre 1916 cars & motorcycles.
