Every so often, Richard and his wife (maybe ex now, IDK) have a fight and he puts the whole mess up for sale. That may be what is happening now. I think the place is still open but it's been a year or more since I went thru there.
If I could deal with Richard himself I could usually make a pretty good deal on the parts I wanted. I never could deal with his counter help all that good.
I liked Bingham's a few miles down NC 49 a lot better, but Jim Bingham saw the writing on the wall when scrap prices went up, and made out like a bandit. From what I'm told, you cannot tell there was ever a salvage yard on that property.
