Entered both of our cars in the Texaco on-line car show. They have a screwy voting system where it's total votes that count, not an average, so it's turned into a popularity contest, not a true car show. Please vote for both our Continentals. http://www.texacocarofthedecades.com/DecadeLanding.aspx?DecadeFrom=1950&DecadeTo=1959

Sorry Barry, but after last year's fiasco, and their half hearted attempt to fix it, I have decided to totally stay away from their on-line contest. My blood pressure is high enough without it.

Strange way to throw away oil profits, what is in it for Texaco?

Sorry Barry,
As much as I like your Continentals, no can do...have to watch some paint dry, then rearrange my sock drawer.

Ah... reminds me of when I owned a T-Bird and frequented a T-Bird forum. A new guy registered on the site and then asked for our votes for a online car show. I proceeded to pick another guy's car and stuff the ballot box. I had to use a sw program to use proxy IPs to fool the computer voting system into thinking different votes where being casted as IPs were being logged. He couldn't figute out what was going on as he kept stuffing the ballot box yet was losing ground. I finally revealed what I was doing to the vote solicitor. I do not like solicitors especially at car shows online or local

I do not like solicitors especially at car shows online or local That's as bad as going to a local car show and having people voting for a car or not voting for a car based on owner, color, or make.

The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
