New to the site....HI all!

I have a brake question I could use help on.

Bought a 63 buick riviera that had been in storage for 20 years.
The brakes were shot and the pedal was close to the floor, when I would start the car the pedal would go straight to the floor.
Looking into the brakes I realizied that the drums were ground down to the riviets. So I changed the shoes, replaced the wheel cylenders, and replaced the brake line, and bleed them all.
The car then had brakes, but the pedal had no real travel and the pedal was rock hard, but the car would stop. I thought it might be the booster so I took it out and checked, pushing the piston in to see if it would push out the master and it did.
Anyone have any thought on the hard pedal...really need to find out.

thanks,
Eric

Eric,
Did you replace the master cylinder? If not you should. check your booster for vacuum leaks at the seals and make sur5e you have a good vacuum source. If you did do the master, did you replace the seal around the base where it enters the booster? I learned the hard way this seal has to be in place or the booster does not work. Good luck!
