Oil leaks begin to be considerable, both at the transmission and at the rear main of the engine. So I am preparing for a winter project.
Is it possible to replace the rear bearing oil seal after taking the transimission, the clutch and the flywheel out, but without removing the engine?
Would you recommend a replacement in kind, or would you recommend some of these newer materials like PTFE or Viton?
Any other watch-outs.
