Got a charging system warning on my touchscreen. Clicked to gages, voltage seemed good [13.7], so I drove home. Went into diagnostics and got code h410 which I know went to history. On the way home voltage always read in the 13.7 range. Once home restarted car after reading codes and the voltage would not read higher then 13.2. Thinking the alternator is on last legs. Any ideas?

I would take a battery reading with a multimeter with engine not running. Then I would take a system reading with engine running using the multimeter. Same test, just running and not running. Non running will give battery condition. Less than high 12+volts non running ??????? If in run condition same test gives 13+ volts, I would say battery won't hold full charge. If running and system gives same voltage read out as battery, you have a possible alternator problem ( or a cable problem).
