I am looking for a 1941 Super 50 steering column and wheel. I may have located a 1940 Special column and wheel and wonder if they would be interchangeable? I would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks, Tom

I don't have the answer, but if you don't get one here, give Doug Seybold a call at 440-835-1193 in Ohio. He'll have the answer for sure as he restores '40s and '41s.

Well, both the steering column jacket and gearshift rod are different part numbers. Of course that doesn't mean that one won't fit the other but it does make it less likely. Keep in mind that the 40 Special was the end of a particular body run of several years while the Super was in the second year of a new body.

Hi Lowegan,
A friend has a 1941 steering column for sale. I sent you an e-mail via the AACA system, but I don't know if I did it the right way.
