Friday tour Andersonville GA historic site and Museum, a catered lunch and later tour the Georgia Rural telephone museum in leslie GA Saturday tour Downtown Columbus and a let'em loose tour with your choice of events including a tour of historic homes,civil war naval museum and or the coca-cola space science center.

Sounds like a very interesting and enjoyable tour. The Andersonville Civil War Prison camp and cemetary was the final stop and resting place for thousands of Union soldiers and the museum and grounds are a sad reminder of this atrocious event.There is also a POW museum there that is quite interesting. I will try to make it over. Glad to see the Dixie Chapter posting here on the forum.
