Quote: The forums have been reorganized and consolidated. If you don't find your favorite forum in it's old location rest assured it is still here! Simple peruse the list and I'm confident you'll find it.

How was this change beneficial? Like a lot of software 'improvements' this change is not for the better IMHO.

I'll SECOND THAT! Whatever you do,don't mention any car BRAND NAME on the General Forun, it will be booted off to a special area nobody visits. I enjoy websites were the reader is treated as an adult and allowed to read the threads that he/she finds interesting without going to one brand only pigeon holes.

I for one find the AACA Forum much more easy to navigate and the forum names match the content better. Before the reorg I never knew quite where to post between the two AACA Forums. I like the consolidation of the Garage and Trailer forum. I think I'll sorta miss the Me and My Car forum but the Current Restoration forum seems to draw more interest.I'm fond of the Memorabilia Forum and would like to see it moved up a couple of notches maybe. I like the Forum Questions being brought up to the top as not many folks ever visited it down in the cellar and I for one will probably use it more.

Dep5,

The change is beneficial as many visitors where having trouble finding forums. By organizing ALL the domestic makes into one sub-forum and putting them into alphabetical order it should now be easier for people to browse and find the forum that is right for them.

FYI - the software did not change.

Peter

Peter...I agree with Lamar in Athens the Current Restorations forum was drawing alot of interest. I would like to see that forum title restored. This request is made on a partially selfish basis as I had my restoration posted on it. For those of us who are restoring cars this forum provided an excellent source of parts and knowledge to aid us in our quest. Preserving the cars I feel is one of the main goals of the AACA and this forum promoted and fowarded this goal in an excellent manor. I would like to hear from the other members as to their thoughts on this.
