The master cylinder in my 1946 Fargo FL7 3 ton is missing. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where I might look for a replacement? The Fargo was the same as the Dodge truck.

CutNChop try www.vintagepowerwagon.com they will probably stear you in the right direction . actualy all FARGO , DeSoto and plymouth trucks were basicaly Dodge trucks with cosmetic and badge changes ,Fargo and DeSoto were assembeled in Canada for ther domestic market and export to other countrys all around the world .you living in Canada probably already new this.

I live in Canada and have restored a 1935 Dodge 1/2 ton. I bought a brand new master cylinder from my local 'no brand' automotive supply store, not Canadian Tire or NAPA, for $125 a few years back. They told me the same master cylinder was used right into the 60s so they still had it in their books. As the previous post points out ,the books will show the same part being used on Dodge and Fargo trucks. There wasn't a lot of difference between the two ,mostly cosmetics.

My local Ma and Pa parts store listed it, but it's on "manufacturers back order" which generally means unless they get a rush on them, they will stop making them.
I'll try VPW but I think a 3 ton is out of their realm.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Vintage Power Wagons has the 3 bolt unit this Fargo requires on the shelf for $108.
