moonbud Member Registered: 07/16/08 Posts: 32 Loc: crestview, florida	the wildcat i just saved from the boneyard has finally made it home. the only problem i have now it to try to get the trunk open. the yard guy didnt have any keys for it. got any ideas. heres a few pics for thought.

Caballero2 Member Registered: 10/26/07 Posts: 43	You may get lucky, many of these had a vacuum trunk release pump located in the glove box. If so, hope it is still functional.

nickelroadster Member Registered: 08/30/07 Posts: 39 Loc: Marietta GA	You should be able to take a broomstick handle and cut a shallow groove on one end and then poke it into the trunk and slip it over the lock extension and give it a quarter turn. This should open it.

dep5 Member Registered: 02/21/03 Posts: 283 Loc: Tipton, Indiana	Where is the challenge? In less time than it took to take pics and post I would have come up with a 1/2" socket and long extension. You can see the lock striker mounting bolts, get to work. _________________________ Dedicated to keeping the Walter P Chrysler era alive
