I am looking for some info ,,,, were the removable part of the split rims chrome or nickel plated??? also looking for a set of 19 inch wide whites slightly used to put on this car need 6 were the bumpers nickel or chrome??? I am looking to correspond with someone who really knows this model... thanks Larry

Having a couple of 1932 Buicks I can tell you the bumpers are definitely chrome. Since the '32 didn't have split rims I can't say for sure but I would assume the part of the rim you're talking about would also be chrome since it's use was pretty prevalent on Buicks by 1931. Can't help you with tires.

Larry, I forwarded your request to Bud Rex, the owner of one of the Seabiscuit cars in Portland OR. It is a 90 series 31 Buick. You can look him up in the BCA roster.
