Appreciate some help. I once owned a 1928 Dodge Victory Six that had wooden spoke wheels and wooden spoke steering wheel, dual side mounted wheels that I think were wire spoked and large trunk on the back. It had hydraulic brakes, levolator shock absorbers and rear seat area had window blinds,a twisted silk entry assisting rope(?) on the back of the front seat. Gentlemen, why can't I find a single picture of this car anywhere? Papers that came with it indicated it was a 1928 Victory Six. Might it have been a later or different model?

Thanks to any who can put this matter to rest for me.

George

My grandfather had a 28 Dodge Victory Six. This is the only picture I have of it. My aunt & uncle are in the picture.

My sister and I went to a car show in Smithfield , Virginia a couple of years ago and there was a 28 Dodge Victory Six there. I am standing by it.

There was a 29 Dodge Victory Six on eBay.

Thank you so much for the Dodge Victory Six photos. Brings back memories. We brought our first son home from the hospital (1953) in ours since it had a like new interior unlike our other car. We were both 19 and our classic car made us look like somebody. We proudly opened the back door for all to see the beautiful interior and put our new arrival in our touring baby bed which fit nicely on the floor behind the front bench seat. We took our time driving off to give admirers a lengthy look.

While I was sure it was a 1928, now in seeing the pictures, I am wondering if it was a 1929 Victory Six since it had dual mounted tires in fender wells each side and a luggage rack with trunk on the back like one of the photos. I know it had a wooden spoke steering wheel but wonder if they still used those in the 1929 models when the outside wheels went to steel spokes.

We paid $50 for it...ran perfect...but had a punctured radiator tube which we plugged....Hard times came, sold it with a few hidden tears to a used car dealer for $25...like bidding a forever farewell to a life long friend. Broke our hearts.
Thanks again, George
