Can anyone give me a lead on where I can get a set of headers for my 56 322 motor? My exhaust manifolds are cracked and beyond repair. So now Iam trying to switch to headers. I have drawn a blank at all the places Ive looked. Neeed help. Thanks don53

Hellow Don just thought i would let you know although i live in Austraila i have found no one on the net who dose headers for a 322. I hade someone make mine by had using stainless .I could post a pic if it would help you as they are out of my 55 at the moment.the guy put at left hand manifold in a vise using it as a dummy engine then started building right hand header from there cost my about $700 aussy i can tell you that after they went on motor reved out cleanly Befor it like it hit a wall and it would no rev any more nor did i push it either I dont push cars its just nice when you know everything is working the way it should. Pat. I think I will probably do the same thing, that is get custom headers built. As you well know there are a lot of obstacles on the left side to get by. I realize this response is old, but if you can still post a pic that would be great. Don53

If you go the custom-built route, there's another site call The Jalopy Journal. Go to the HAMB message board, go to the For Sale side, and do a search for 322 Header Flanges. I got a set from the guy, and they're very, very nice.
