I have been carry around an AC Kleer Kleen Oil Filter element that supposedly fits an early Cadillac. From the information marked on the filter and the paper work in the box I have the following:

AC Type L-11 Filter Element

Application: Cadillac L-1 Oil Filter Canister.

What years did Cadillac use the L-1 filter, and is this a common filter to find?
