Hi, we are looking for a mechanic in the Mesa, AZ area who is experienced with Reatta (1988) electronic/electrical problems. Thanks for any help.

You may have trouble finding one, but the Reatta is not too diffrent from many other cars of that era. Also there is many people here that are very well versed in diagnosing issues with Reattas, so you may be wise to tell us what your issue is h on here. Granted we can not fix it from here but we can point you in the right direction, let you know if your mechanic is just changing parts or has a grasp on what he is doing, and even give you an idea of where to find the hard to find parts.

Contact Mike at buickreattaparts.com. He has or can find any Reatta part you may need. He is located near you in AZ and has been known to make house calls.

Thanks Daniel and Steveskyhawk for the replies. We got a hold of Mike at Reatta parts and he recommended Elliot's Auto Electric where the car is now! For the past ten years the battery won't hold a charge unless driven every few days. As of late, the interior dash lights and the door locks go on and off without turning them on. Over the years,I've read about such problems on this forum. Today While Driving the car to Elliot's it completely died shocked. Pulled over and thank goodness it started immediately.
