Well, I am back on the road as I stated in my other post but I also have a problem that has been happening for awhile. The emergency brake warning is coming on and the red brake problem light is staying on. I keep applying the emergency brake and releasing it several times and occasionally it stays off until I tap it or use it then it is hard to keep the light and warning that appears on the screen to stay off.
Any one had that problem?

Chris, not sure if all years are the same, but my 89 service manual in section 5-11, goes through the parking brake adjustment sequence. It sounds like your parking brake cable is loose.

Forgot to mention, the ajustment tentioner is next to the frame rail approx: centered under the driver's door.
