Well said Lamar! Back in 74 I bought a new 454 Corvette coupe, bright red. The dealer gave me a bumper sticker that I placed in the back window. It read; Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet. Well that Vette is long gone, but the tradition has stayed. Today I will play a little catch, smoke some dogs on the grill, have a slice of homemade apple pie, and take the 62 Corvette for a top down ride. Will follow with a few cold American beers after the ride, and some fireworks. Wouldn't want it any other way.

.......Back in 74 I bought a new 454 Corvette coupe, bright red. The dealer gave me a bumper sticker that I placed in the back window. It read; Baseball, Hot Dogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet. .......... And slightly off topic. Here in Australia, about the same time, the local GM make had an ad campaign about "Football, Meat Pies, Kangaroos and Holden Cars". Similar sentiment, just changed the wording for the intended audience.

Now THAT is funny! Kangaroos and Holdens!
Do the car dealers in Australia have giant blowup kangaroos in front of their dealerships on Saturdays? That couldn't be any scarier than the giant, blow-up, dark lavender gorilla wearing sunglass that is at one local used car lot here.

The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
