It is a great event and worth the trip. To see it all takes at least two days at the speed I walk. I have never found much stuff for my '47 Packard but there is the odd gem that shows up. I really like the car diplays and the car corral. As suggested bring sunscreen and also comfortable walking shoes and a wide brim hat. It is a well run event.

Hi Dennis, I have attended the show for many years.
PRO Well run by friendly people Good amenities such as food vendors, restrooms, sinks for hand washing and places to sit and rest occasionally. Large, with lots to see and prices generally reasonable.
CON It is grassroots enough that most of the cars are of driver quality, you will not see a full field of AACA level cars. Large, with lots to see EXCEPT prewar parts availability. (There will be prewar cars to see in the show, however) You may have to select a hotel some distance from the meet (BUT at least you will not be gouged badly on price)
RECOMMENDATION If you must choose between Iola or Hershey for prewar parts availability choose Hershey. If you have the spare time and money to enjoy attending even if you don't find any parts then come on out and enjoy!

Thanks for the input.Still planinng on the annual trek to Hershey as well. Honestly, I haven't done too well there in the past two years on pre-war parts and such. Still wouldn't miss it. I did prefer the mud to the pavement. It does seem to me that the prewar stuff is growing harder to find. Dennis
