peter packard Member Registered: 07/31/07 Posts: 66	G'day Model 61, The head tension for Packard with 7/16 20 TPI bolts is 60-62 ft lbs. I personally set my 533 to 55 ft lbs and have had no leakage problems in 20 years. I do check them every few years after a readonable days run. Set them with the engine hot and use the normal Packard tensioning procedure as for other Packard Sixes. best regards Peter Toet
