Not only a great looking car but I like how you got a couple of models to pose with the car... Lukey

I guess you could call them models. They are two of my Daughters, we were on a mini vacation in Charleston, WV.

Tom, Do you still have a place in S.C.? I'm now in Sylva, NC. Stop and see me if you are driving down from the north. -Rick

Hey Tom,

I have a 1950 Silverstreak 2 door 6 cylinder that I bought about a year ago. I have been working on getting the engine running smoother and I finally am able to really drive the car at speed without fear of being stranded. I posted a question for others; Do you know if "Silverstreak is the model or is it a chieftan with the Sivlerstreak package? When I search for info/parts there is little on Silverstreak. Did this become the Chieftan later on?

Do you recommend switching to 12 volt? If so do you have to chang all the wiring in addition to the bulbs?

Any suggestions to get a little more power out of this six?

When Idling with headlights on at a light, is it normal to have the "charge" in the negative or should the car be idling higher to keep it at zero?

Thanks for anyhelp you can offer.
