While under my '48 LC adjusting the slack in my emergency brake cable, I noted that the hoses to the under seat heater were cut and open to the weather. Aside from all of the other obvious work to do on the heater cores, does any know the length of supply and return hose that is needed to rehose??
Also, are there "T"s that are used to T into the hoses that go to the under dash heater. And where is the proper place to
place the T? Thanks in advance Glenn Lorei 9b6vt

Glenn, the parts book give these dimensions:
left side from the water pump to the left heater core 96"
left cylinder head to to defroster, 23"
defroster to right side heater core 71"
connection between heater cores 19"
There are no "T's". You might want to give yourself a little extra on those long runs. Feeding the left and right hoses thru the frame can take a little time. Hope this helps

I never measured mine when I restored it I just bought 20 feet of hose and ran it. Still had some left over. but it is hooked up like Peecher said from the right side water pump through the frame to the heaters then back through the frame on the left side back to a shut off valve on the head.
