Hi,

living in Germany I own a `58 Buick Special Riviera 2d-HT. I just got me a disc-brake conversion kit from Direct Fit Brake wich I think is wrong but the guy at dfb tells me it is correct but is not able to send me a detailed installation instruction with a few pictures.
Anybody out there did this conversion before?
I exspecially need to know how the caliber brackets should be installed to the spindels and how the booster is mounted to the firewall.
Pictures would be great but any help will be appreciated!
I did several conversions on `55-`61 Chevys without any problems but this kit confuses me.

I don't know about the Direct Fit Brakes kit, but here are a few links that have pictures for other manufacturers. Maybe they will help, how different can they be?

Post numbers 5 and 6 in the first link have some pictures that show the parts you are interested in and the second link has some additional pictures and drawings near the bottom that might be useful. Hope they help.
