Friend emailed me a photo of a fire chief’s car, he found on internet site that called it a 1928, but it’s definitely a early DB, probably 1918. Fully restored with fire apparatus on it and looking great. Does it belong to anyone in the DB club, or does anyone know it’s history??

Take Care,

Nollie

Looks to be a 20-21. Windshield tilted back in 20, rear fenders were longer in late 21. Headlights appear to be 24-27. Also has a headlight bar which started in 21, but could have been added later.

Dave,

THANKS for info, I'd love to date a lot of my old DB photos. Nice looking Screenside, I've always wanted one for my collection, but keep holding out for late 1917-1920 models. Friend here in NC, has restored 1927, use to bring to our local shows, but hasn't shown up in a few years.

THANKS again for the information.
Take Care,

Nollie

Nollie,

I am located in Rutherford College NC, Near Hickory.
Where are you located in Western NC?
I have a 1921 Touring Car and am always interested in finding other DB/GB people nearby.

James
